Finalist in the "Consultancy of the Year" category at the 2023 Australian Defence Industry Awards
Our team were extremely proud to have been selected as a finalist in the Defence Connect 2023 Australian Defence Industry Awards "Consultancy of the Year" category.
The Australian Defence Industry Awards are a nationwide program that recognises the outstanding individuals and businesses positively shaping the growth and development of Australia’s defence sector.
After being nominated by a client, we were thrilled to make it into the top 10 finalists for our category, with our Director & Principal Emilio De Stefano, and Senior Associate David Kameniar donning their tuxes for the awards night in Canberra.

#15 in the BDO Australia Fast Movers SA 2023 Awards
Not only was De Stefano & Co included in the top 25 fastest growing South Australian companies for our second year running, but we took out 15th place for 2023!
Run by BDO, the Fast Movers SA program recognises the fastest growing and most innovative small to medium enterprises in South Australia. Designed to celebrate and support local businesses to grow and flourish, the Top 25 fastest moving businesses are determined by average percentage growth in revenue across the past three financial years.
After proudly taking out 12th place in the 2022 awards, the top 25 for 2023 were announced in descending order at a celebratory breakfast held at Eos at SkyCity on Friday May 5. Attended by over 300 people, the breakfast featured guest speaker Kim Skubris, MC Elspeth Hussey and special guest Hon Andrea Michaels MP.
Director & Principal, Emilio De Stefano, was honoured to be ranked amongst so many other high performing South Australian businesses.

We were pleased to take out 12th position at a celebratory breakfast held at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday 26 May 2022. Attended by over 200 people, the breakfast was opened by the Premier of South Australia, Hon Peter Malinauskas.
It was an honour to be ranked amongst so many high performing businesses from across the state. At a time when the Australian defence industry has never been more important in underpinning the stability of our geopolitical environment and ultimately, the sovereignty of our nation, we look forward to continuing to support the growth and development of the sector.
InDaily 40 Under 40 Awards 2021
De Stefano & Co's Director and Principal, Emilio De Stefano, was proudly named as one of the InDaily 40 Under 40 award recipients for 2021.
The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of SA’s best young business leaders across a range of sectors. With 630 referrals and more than 230 applications in 2021, the judges had their work cut out for them as they narrowed down the list of nominees to the top 40 winners.
The 40 Under 40 winners were announced at a formal dinner held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Thursday 10 June 2021, along with presentations by inspiring speakers and members of the judging panel.
Nominated for the award by a client, Emilio is an experienced business executive and chartered professional engineer who established De Stefano & Co in 2015 to assist businesses to navigate the complex defence industry and grow their defence sector revenue.
De Stefano & Co would like to congratulate each of the award recipients for their inspiring achievements and contributions to South Australia.
